安倍吉俊さんの画集「yoshitoshi ABe lain illustrations」を購入しました。
以前発売されて絶版になっていた「serial experiments lain」をベースとした画集をより個人画集的に再編集したもの、らしいです。ページの構成や紙質が変わったそうですが、私は以前のものを知らないので比較できません。lainはまったくわからないし、大好きな灰羽連盟とは色合いや雰囲気が随分と異なるけれども、やっぱり好き。美術を専門に勉強された方だからこその緻密さ、繊細さはもちろん、空気が好きです。密度が高くて、ページをめくっていくのが楽しい。
そういえば、書店に長蛇の列ができていて、何かと思ったら菅野彰さんのサイン会をやっていました。実家からわりと近いところに住んでいらっしゃる作家さん。もう少しご年配の方だと思っていました。
